Meet Crista

To say that my path to becoming a Professional Coach was circuitous would be an understatement!  After college, I worked in a corporate setting for 10 years and earned my MBA; I got married and had two kids.  Two months after our first child was born, we moved to London for “two to three years” for my husband’s job. While overseas - for what turned out to be 13 years! - I traded in my career to raise our kids and manage our busy home and active family.

By the time we moved back to the US, settled our kids in school and built our new house, we had moved 13 times in 18 years of marriage. I finally sat down long enough to take a breath and reflect, and realized I was not okay. I was smiling on the outside, and it looked like I “had it all.” But inside I felt directionless, drained, and disconnected.  I realized that somewhere along the line, I began living on autopilot, and I had lost my sense of self.  All my relationships were suffering, and I was my own worst enemy.

Does this sound familiar?

Many people find themselves lost in the shuffle of life’s day-to-day busyness, and lose their sense of purpose and direction along the way.  I discovered that it’s never too late to change direction and become more intentional with your choices.   Small changes over time stacked up and made a big difference in my life, my marriage and all my relationships, including my relationship with myself.  As I reconnected with my purpose and re-engaged in life more intentionally, I started recognizing impactful changes in other areas of my life … there was a ripple effect in motion. Coaching equipped me with simple and effective tools that made a big difference, and little did I know I was being prepared for the challenges that were to come.

That’s a snippet of my story.  You’ll have your own story. Diving in to understand it better helps you connect the dots.  You'll see how your past has shaped you to be exactly who you are today.  You’ll be able to apply the wisdom and meaning from your past to your present circumstances … so you can be more focused, intentional and impactful going forward!  Whatever brought you here today, I believe there’s more for you too, and the tools that helped me turn my life around are available to YOU. I agree with Maya Angelou: “My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”  If you’re ready to thrive, and you’re committed to creating a more purposeful and impactful life, let’s connect.
